OVERVIEW
This video was my team’s entry for the Institute of Food Technologist (IFT): Food Science in Action Competition 2020. IFT is a forum and organization for food technologists and professionals around the world. Annually, IFT conducts Food Science in Action Competition to educate students about different topics of food technology. The theme for IFT Competition 2020 was the importance of food labels.

This video aims to educate people about the importance of reading food labels before buying them. It explains the existence of sugars in food that can be represented in many forms. The target market of this video was elementary students. Hence, it is presented in a cartoonish style and it uses simpler and more understandable words and phrases.

It was mainly created by a team of 5 people, with me being the animator and editor, 1 person being the illustrator, 1 person being the narrator and voice dubber, and the other being the content creator and researcher. The whole video was done in about 36 hours (36 hours for 2 videos) The animation was done using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
